Woman’s Position in Politic on Islam

How Islam talks about the leadership of woman in politic, especially when Megawati was elected to be the president on 1999 Election. I think that is only a change of our politic. So, the topic is not theological but it is only political subject. It proves that our Islamic life has dominated and involves to our politic. Al-Qur’an tells about Prophet Sulaiman and Queen Bilqis. And then, Al-Azhar University was founded by Fathimiyah Dynasty, the last daughter of Prophet Muhammad because in the past, a dynasty was led by a queen and queen is a woman.
I think there is no barrier in Indonesia about woman mobility in anything subject : education, politic, economy, etc. Case of Megawati cannot be based on fiqh (one of rule in Islam). It is very political. For me, it will be more questionable if the female president is Zakiah Darajat or another woman muslim activist. Is MUI or muslim society give same respond to Megawati? Every citizen, man or woman, good moslem not has same opportunity or challenge to get position in politic. Maybe men could be more firm than women but we can find a firm woman like Sri Mulyani and a soft man like Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Female politician can be more careful but it depends on their selves.
